Classroom Ideas

After watching the poem 'The Sound Collector', pupils could write down each of the sounds collected and then replicate the sounds. Pupils could then watch a clip without volume - what sounds are missing? Could the pupils add the sounds themselves? Write a list of sounds. They could create 'The Sound Collector' poems for different contexts eg a football match, a visit to the zoo, in the kitchen, the school dining hall.
