Students could create a soundtrack that can be played at the same time as the clip. They could also write a script to narrate the images and explain the significance of the footage. Can be used as a starter activity in which students try to work out what they are looking at. What clues can they spot? What inferences can they make? Is there anything in their own knowledge that might help them work out what this object is?
