Classroom Ideas

Can be used to revise food vocabulary. Students could write a shopping list consisting of the items they hear and then add more of their own, looking up the genders. They could write and say each item using le/ la/ l’/ les or un/ une/ du/ de la/ de l’/ des after these have been revised. Au /à la/ à l’/ aux could also be reviewed, and then uses of all these types of expression could be explored and differences discussed, eg j’aime le tennis, je joue au tennis, je joue du piano. Homework could consist of writing out as many phrases as possible. Numbers up to 100 could be revised, perhaps by playing bingo. Future careers could be discussed, eg je voudrais être vétérinaire.
