Adam, a Jewish boy, gives a multi-sensory guide to the festival of Sukkot. He comments on what he sees, hears, smells, tastes, touches and thinks about at the festival.
This clip could be used to explore the concept of symbolism in religion. Get the students to draw a picture of their bedroom. Then get them to label between five and ten things in the room identifying what those things say about the student. For example, a football may show that the student is sporty. Then give the students a picture of a Sukkah. During the clip, get the students to annotate the Sukkah referencing all of the symbolism that is highlighted in the clip.
