Classroom Ideas

This clip can be used to introduce appearance and character vocabulary. First let the children describe Narcissus' appearance, then look at words describing his character. Ask the children to write the words in German and English on cards and play a pelmanism game with a partner: they put the cards face down on the table and turn them over to find matching pairs. Each time a player can only turn up two cards. The player can keep the cards when he or she has found a matching pair and then turn over two more cards, otherwise it's the other player's turn.
