Classroom Ideas

As an introduction to creating a stop-frame animation, this clip provides viewers with a clear overview of the process involved. The class could then storyboard their own animation along a teacher selected theme, for example about friendship, or based on their own idea for a short scene. Children may wish to use existing toys or create their own props for their film. Once the films have been created, children from other classes could be invited to a 'premiere' of the animations.
