A wide range of sounds are created including smooth, spiky, sharp, sliding, quick, rough and energetic sounds. Alan, the presenter, moves to the sounds.
Start by using the activity suggested in the clip. The pupils can listen to the sounds and find ways of describing them, perhaps using some of the suggested vocabulary. Then find ways of making their own smooth, spiky, flowing (and so on) sounds using your classroom instruments and possibly voices. Tie this in with some movement. Have some pupils work on some descriptive movement sequences, which the students with instruments have to accompany.
