Fruit and vegetables contain lots of nutrients and it is important for us to eat them at least five times a day. There are lots of different ways to prepare and eat fruit and vegetables. As well as a variety of foods, our bodies also need exercise to stay healthy.

During work on healthy eating or caring for oneself, children could watch this clip as a stimulus for a piece of persuasive writing aimed at encouraging children to regularly eat fruit and vegetables. After viewing the clip, children could research additional facts and the use these to create a persuasive poster, leaflet or booklet.
