This clip could be used to explore denotation and connotation. Draw the outline of an iceberg with the water level mark through it on the board. Above the line, write key words from the report which could suggest criticism and below, write what these words could be suggesting. Draw the students' thinking together and discuss how this report has implied criticism through its language.
