Classroom Ideas

Discuss the characteristics of a good team, the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Factors that bring a team of (possibly disparate) individuals together. Selflessness v selfishness, how individuals look after their own performance while working for team mates. The power of pulling together, how a less gifted group can outperform more gifted opponents through teamwork. Less obvious examples of teamwork, e.g. cycling or athletics, where team mates are not on the pitch/track together.
