This provides a case study on tourism in a coastal resort: the reasons it is chosen by tourists, how they have coped with the influx of people and how they are ensuring that the resort continues to flourish - link to the concept of sustainability. Can be used as a case study on how erosion can be prevented. Provides a discussion starter on what groups of people would visit such a place and the possible future scenarios that may occur (most likely, preferable, worst case, impact of climate change etc.).
