Description

Mary Portas looks at the impact of recession on Tewkesbury High Street. With further analysis, she finds that some small shopkeepers are struggling to cope with the rising cost of goods imported from China. Others are open for a whole day but see no customers at all. She urges the shopkeepers to work together to create events that will pull in customers, for example, a food fair.
