Children are introduced to modern day cowboys and cowgirls at the rodeo show in Montana. The presenter is invited to get involved in the show by dressing one of the horse carts. While she is doing this, the audience is asked to count the number of pushes and pulls they can see.
This could be used as part of an activity where the children identify and discuss the pushes and pulls within the clip. Screen prints could be taken or children could draw their own rodeo shows and highlight the pushes and pulls. This could lead on to other sports and the pushes and pulls involved, like the Olympics or topical sports events.
