London Meeting - 22nd May - Unpublishing
Created on 09 May 2014
Thursday 22 May 2014
11.45am to 12.45pm
Council Chamber, 1st Floor, Old Broadcasting House
Should we ever take down or amend online material?
Should we change a programme once it has gone out but is still available on iPlayer or BBC archives?
Under what circumstances would we revoke a programme permanently?
Come and explore the principles involved in this growing area of editorial policy.
This month’s editorial policy meeting will take a hands on approach by looking at recent cases facing programme teams and exploring the complexities involved. We will also launch new guidance to assist in decisions around “unpublishing”.
The meeting is open to all.
