Guidance for BBC Global News on Marketing Events launched

New guidance for BBC Global News on Marketing Events has been launched.

Global News often seeks to build awareness of its commercial brands by participating in third party events. It also mounts marketing events for its commercial services in order to promote editorial.

The new guidance sets out editorial principles that should be met and referral paths followed when these sorts of activities are proposed.
