Kylie and Sean getting ready for Bike Week

Kylie rides through the East Midlands

Presenter Kylie Pentelow embarks on a big bike ride across the East Midlands. The only catch is, she's still learning to ride!

It's Bike Week and on Monday Kylie cycled from Market Harborough to Leicester in the rain. Tuesday she travelled up to Asfordby via Mountsorrel. Wednesday she got a puncture and the repair failed so she rode the spare bike as the support van went on a hunt for some spanners. She finally got to Normanton-on-Soar for the evening live.  Yesterday Kylie cycled to Derby along cycle route 6.

Raleigh

Kylie Pentelow speaks to bosses at Raleigh.  They say the company still has an important base in the East Midlands - with profits up on last year.  And they're introducing a old favourite for Christmas - find out what it could be!

Route between Derby and Attenborough Nature Centre

This morning Kylie, Sean and Jonathan travel from Derby to Attenborough Nature Centre.

Final route between Attenborough and Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham

During the afternoon Kylie will cycle her final journey to Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham.

On this site you'll be able to watch Kylie as she travels across the East Midlands. Our director Sean Riley is also cycling every day with her.  Video journalist Jonathan Cecil will be filming and taking lots of photos of the ride and uploading them onto this page as each part of the route is completed.
