Gus's battleaxe Auntie Opal will appear in two episodes of EastEnders at the beginning of April. She'll be played by TV chef Rustie Lee.

Rustie, who recently participated in a 'Pancake Mile' for Sport Relief , was delighted to be invited on to the show.

She said of the role: "I'm absolutely over the moon to think I'm going to be in the Square. It's tremendous, I've always wanted to do it."
