Kevin makes a run for it

Kevin pledges to keep Shirley's identity from Deano and Carly. Evie makes her dying wish to Bert.

Kevin and Shirley

Kevin's flabbergasted that Shirley wants to see Deano and Carly. He mentions their son Jimbo who had cystic fibrosis. He's horrified that she knew that he died, but didn't attend the funeral.

Bert

Bert sobs to Evie that his own daughter never knew who he was. He admits that he was a bad husband and father. He assures her that he doesn't blame her for anything.

Kevin and Shirley

Kevin delights in informing Shirley that the kids despise her. Denise steps in and Kevin introduces her to his ex-wife. Kevin insists that he'll never give Shirley access to Deano and Carly.

Kevin and Denise

Denise is furious to find herself in the middle of another family row. Kevin begs her to support him. Later, she bows to pressure from Libby and Kevin and calls a truce with Patrick.

Kevin

Kevin rings Pat and asks for a favour. Later, he spins a yarn to everyone that Pat's called to tell him that Customs and Excise are investigating him. They all have to leave immediately.

Evie and Bert

Evie urges Bert to get in touch with Jay, then passes away. He breaks down in tears. Meanwhile, Deano and Carly meet Shirley for lunch. Before she can reveal who she is, Dylan hauls them back to Kevin's.

Yolande and Libby

Libby reveals to Yolande that she found a pregnancy test on the bus. It was positive. Meanwhile, Kevin frogmarches everyone out of the house. Shirley watches them leave.

Kevin and Deano

Kevin's relief at returning to the Square is short-lived. Shirley calls him, holding the van's rental agreement. She wants him to mention her to the kids. Shaken, Kevin hangs up and lies that it was his accountant.
