
Yolande buries the hatchet with Pat. Once she's gone, Patrick hisses guiltily to Pat that their relationship must be on a strictly business basis from now on. Pat's amused by his discomfort.
Joe informs Pauline that a cancellation at the registry office means that they could get married the following week. Pauline refuses, stating that she needs time to organise things.
Stacey declares to Bradley that she feels sick after kissing him. He argues that he had to do it to convince Jim and Charlie. She asserts that they'll never be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Keith and Rosie plan to visit the cafe they frequented when they were dating. Later, Rosie hears that Nora's in hospital. She cancels with Keith, lying that she can't get the time off to go to the cafe.
Bradley keeps schtum about Stacey to Deano. Jim lets the cat out of the bag by revealing that he saw them snogging. Deano runs off delightedly to tease a horrified Stacey.
Dawn gives Deano the cold shoulder when he asks her out. Later, she lays into Jake for his behaviour. He offers to make it up to her, but she storms off and bumps into Dr Oliver on the way.
Stacey yells at Bradley for bragging about their date. She hisses that she doesn't want people to think that he's the best she can do. Bradley's heartbroken by her cruel comment.
Dawn glows as she serves Dr Cousins. Deano scoffs that she doesn't have a chance with him. Dawn confides in Honey that she just needs to get Oliver alone. Honey thinks up a plan.
Stacey cons Charlie into giving her money to go to a fashion show with Bradley. She arranges for Bradley to walk her home so that Charlie will think that they went together.
Pauline's frustrated by her engagement being the talk of the Square. She informs Joe that they'll get married next week after all. She wants to get it over and done with.
Dawn pretends that she's got broken glass in her eye and asks Dr Cousins to take a look. He realises that it's a trick and explains that he isn't looking for a girlfriend.
Charlie spots Bradley waiting for Stacey at the station. He realises that Stacey lied about their date. Once they get home, he accuses Stacey of tricking him.
Nora shows Rosie a postcard from Mike in Malaga. Meanwhile, Dawn reveals to Keith that Rosie's at the hospital. He follows her and urges her to tell him the truth in future.
Pat enjoys watching Patrick squirm in her presence. Finally, she insists that they sort out their situation. Over a bottle of whiskey, Pat and Patrick start to laugh about their tryst.
Bradley takes the rap, by claiming to Charlie that he stood up Stacey. Impressed by his noble act, Stacey agrees grudgingly to go on a date with him on Saturday.
Pat giggles that she can't resist a man in a string vest. They agree to just be friends. Patrick goes to leave, but has a change of heart. He bolts the door and walks towards a smiling Pat.
