Johnny interviews a girl called Amy for bar work. She wraps him round her little finger with her saucy talk. Tina's miffed when she sees that Johnny's hired the young temptress.

Ruby and Stacey

Ruby doubts that Johnny's been honest with her about his past. She needs to know the whole truth. Stacey reckons that it's time that they took the direct approach.

Alfie and Billy

Billy tries to find supporters to attend Phil's trial. Alfie uses Nana as an excuse for not going. Martin warns Billy that he's wasting his time. Few people either know or care about Phil.

Stacey and Ruby

Stacey rifles through the contents of the safe, but can't see anything of interest. She knocks a bundle onto the floor. Ruby unwraps it to reveal a gun. She's sickened by the sight of the weapon.

Ruby

Johnny bursts into his office and orders Stacey to leave. He insists that Ruby must drop the gun, claiming that he keeps it for security. He panics when Ruby refuses to release it.

Johnny pleads with Ruby to let go of the gun. She demands to know the truth about his past. He agrees to answer her questions, but only with a 'yes' or 'no'. Ruby soon establishes that Johnny's killed.

Johnny

Johnny's seething about the break-in. Something on the floor catches his eye. It's Ruby's watch. He stops Tina from calling the police. Johnny's visibly stunned by his daughter's actions.
