Riz asks: What was it like filming the fire scene in the café and did you do any of the stunts?
It was really enjoyable, as it was probably the biggest ever scene that I’ve had to do, so I was really looking forward to it. There wasn’t really many stunts to do to be honest.
All the stunts
I had to do I did myself, but it wasn’t like I was jumping off of cliffs or anything, but they did set my arm on fire, which was the biggest thing.
Drama Queen asks: Who do you think Bradley should be with? Syd or Stacey?
That’s a hard one to answer! They both have different qualities that he likes.
Bradley
and
Stacey
as a whole will always be a good match, as they’re so opposite. In terms of him being with
Syd
- it gives him a chance to be a part of a family and play a bit of a father role to her child, which he desperately wants to do. So there is a strong argument for both.
Sophie: Have you had to learn sign language for Bradley's scenes with Noah?
I’ve had to learn a little bit of sign language, but I’ve chosen not to learn a great deal, because Bradley and Syd haven’t been together that long. I just don’t think that Bradley would have been able to learn that much in that space of time. From doing the bits I have done, it’s like learning another language.
Lena asks: Do you think Bradley will ever get together with Stacey again?
It’s hard to say. Probably not - I don’t know how many times they can break up and get back together and then go through it all again. I don’t think they’ll get back together relationshipwise, but I think they might have quite a strong friendship.
Umar asks: How well do you get on with Lacey Turner and do you miss not working with her as much as you used to?
I get on very, very well with
Lace
and I really do miss working with her. We had a very good working relationship which has been built up over the course of two-and-a-half years. So, it’s quite sad not working together, but you move on to other things and we still see each other around, so it’s all good. Who knows, we might work together again soon!
Steve asks: If there was one character you could have more scenes with, who would it be with and why?
That’s a hard one! Characterwise it would probably be
Masood
(Nitin),
purely for the fact that he’s brilliant and very, very funny. I think it would be quite good fun to do some stuff with him.
Sophie asks: I love Gumbo - what is it like working with Shamus?
(Laughs) It’s very, very hard. He’s a very big dog and he weighs about 13 stone. He’s absolutely huge. He’s quite sedate, slow and a bit laidback, so to try and get him do what you want him to do is quite difficult. If he decides to go for a walk, he goes for a walk.
Steph: If Bradley could work at any of the businesses in Walford, where would you like him to work?
To suit his character I would have him working in the office of the club (R&R) doing the accounts. That’s probably the only place that warrants a suit. Or, perhaps working from home - he could set up his own internet business.
Matthew: Does Bradley have a really dark side that we haven’t seen yet?
Yes, I think he does. We have seen flashes of it in the past. There was a time when
Max
was having an affair and the woman he was having an affair with came over to the house. Bradley not so politely told her to get lost.
There have been touches of Bradley’s other side and you don’t really see it that much. He’s Max’s son and
Jack’s
nephew, and they’ve both got it in them, so there’s nothing to say that Bradley hasn’t got it in him, being from the same stock. I’d love to see him have an even darker side.
David asks: So far, what is your favourite storyline involving Bradley?
It has to be Stacey and Max's affair.
The whole affair coming out
at Christmas 2007 has to be the biggest storyline since I’ve been there. It was emotionally explosive, so it has to be that.
Rob asks: All drama aside, are you as interested in Doctor Who and Sci-Fi as much as Bradley is?
No, I’ve never seen
Doctor Who
in my life and I’m not a massive fan of Sci-Fi at all.
David asks: What do you think of your character in the Makeover game?
Yeah, the
Makeover game
- there’s a guitar on there isn’t there? I like it.
Alex asks: Do you think Charlton Athletic will get promoted this season?
I’d hope to think so. If they’re anything like they were last season they’ll probably go down again, but we shall see what the following season has to offer.
