About Raji James

Raji's interests include lecturing, just like his character! He's the Actor in Residence at Portsmouth College's Media Studies and Performing Arts Department.

Raji's brother in the film East is East was played by Jimi Mistry (Fred Fonseca). It also starred John Bardon (Jim Branning).

His favourite actors include Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton.

Raji's had a number of jobs, from being a cab driver and a barman, to a sandwich delivery man and the foreman on a building site.

Raji's TV credits include The Creatives, Holby City, Waking the Dead, Murder in Mind and Doctors.

His most famous small screen role prior to EastEnders was playing D.S. Vik Singh in The Bill.
