About Joe Swash

Joe studied at the Anna Scher Theatre School. His class mates were Natalie Cassidy (Sonia), James Alexandrou (Martin) and Brooke Kinsella (Kelly)

Mickey said he doesn't like girls who put make-up on every five minutes. He said: "I like girls who'll come paint-balling or climbing trees with me".

He was originally up for the part of Spencer Moon, but Christopher Parker pipped him to the post.

Joe played for Millwall Youth team alongside Joe Cole when he was 14.

Joe's background is a mixture of Irish, Scottish and Italian.

He started modelling when he was a cute two-year-old with curly red hair and a naughty grin!

His hobbies include playing football and going out with his mates. He's a keen Arsenal supporter.

When Joe was seven, he made his first TV appearance in a classic Andrex advert. He was the little boy who wiped off his grandmother's slobbery kiss in disgust.

Joe played Denny Ingraham in Casualty.

He also starred as Adam in The Bill.
