About Gemma Bissix

Gemma played Clare Bates from 1993 to 1998 and has now returned to reprise the role.

Since we last saw her in EastEnders Gemma has; worked as a bra fitter, run a pub, helped out at her dad's electrical wholesalers and been named the British Soap Awards' Villain of the Year for playing Hollyoaks' Clare Cunningham. Phew!

Clare's a big football fan and has held a Chelsea season ticket since she was six.

Her musical tastes take in old school garage, hip hop, and 90s group Sublime.

Gemma is a car enthusiast and has a Mini Cooper that she races.
