The mystery of the Chai pendant has finally been solved.

It's a missing piece of evidence from a Cold Case. It belonged to a Polish refugee child, Bernadetta Dusniak, found murdered on a North London street in May 1945, soon after the end of World War II.

Boyd saw that Mel Silver was the last person to look at the file for this Cold Case - Mel took the pendant out of the evidence box and sent it to Sarah at the Wiesenthal Centre in New York to do checks against their large data banks.
