Félicité Du Jeu as Stella

Stella Goodman (Félicité Du Jeu)
Occupation: Detective Constable

Stella's highly intelligent and hard-working. Fast-tracked through the Met, she's usually empathising and intuitive with interviewees, but can get impatient. Stella's desperately keen to get on within the CC Squad, and impress Boyd.

But Boyd, still upset by Mel's death, found Stella's arrival an unwelcome intrusion. Stella's an untamed horse: feisty, energetic, impetuous and committed, but gets bored easily. After a rocky start, she enjoys a close relationship with Spence.

Her dad was an English policeman who died in the line of duty when she was a baby. She and her French mother went to live in Paris, from where she returned aged 18. Brought up as a Catholic, she's in her mid twenties, single and has no children.

Upon her return to the UK, Stella was taken care of by Drake, her late father's colleague and friend, as well as her godfather. Drake's the head of the Anti Terrorist Organisation.

In Series 5 we learned that at Drake's request, Stella's been spying on the team. But when Drake orders an attempt on Spence's life, Stella realises her loyalty lies with the team.
