Beth is an ebullient beer monster and a football mad, mouthy Mancunian of the first order. Her car crash of a life involves working for Nita, watching United, abusing 'Braille boy' (her blind husband Kaz) and her teenage kids on the way to the pub.
Her dad's death and sister Phil's return from London present Beth with an opportunity to confront her guilt soaked past and face up to a more honest future.
