Shakespeare Schools Festival

Details of the workshop support given during One Night of Shakespeare.

  • Pupils/Cast

  • Video clip - Pupils from Westminster City School and South Hampstead High School talk about the workshop.

Every cast received a workshop delivered by the National Youth Theatre, Scottish Youth Theatre, National Youth Theatre of Wales and the Ulster Association of Youth Drama. Each workshop focused on the specific play being performed, and was run in the fortnight prior to One Night of Shakespeare on July 3rd 2005.

  • Teacher/Directors

  • Every teacher/director attended a workshop specifically devised for this event, to help them enthuse and direct their students. Delivered by the MAP Consortium, each workshop featured techniques, exercises and ideas for bringing the plays to life, taught by professional actors and directors.

  • The Performance
