About this film

Our project involved nine Gifted and Talented pupils in Year 12 and Year 7. Pupils had free choice of the play and how they wanted to present their ideas. They chose A Midsummer Night's Dream and wanted to concentrate on the chaos of the lovers in the woods. The animation was the pupils' idea and they designed all of the characters, costume, background, fairies and detail to the animation themselves. They wrote the script and one pupil was the voice of Puck.

As a teacher I have been incredibly impressed with how creative the pupils' ideas were and how enthusiastic they have been. The project was completed as an after-school activity showing their commitment. Everyone involved has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and worked extremely hard. We all hope that you enjoy our submission.
