About this film

Some chidren acted, some became production assistants and we performed live to the rest of the school. We videod this version. We then took the main plot sequences from the scenes and filmed them without sound in front of a green screen. Using some of the sound track from the live performances, photographs and garageband music we edited the final piece together.

Our aim was to produce a 60 second version of the entire play "The Tempest". We set up an after school drama club. We had approximately six hours over the weeks to complete the task. Some of the children invovled leave junior school this week and this project has proved a good opportunity to have fun and go away with a visual memory of their time at Denby free.
