Benjamin Whitrow

BAFTA-nominated for his performance as Mr Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Benjamin's been appearing in TV dramas since the 1960s.

He's been in a range of TV and film dramas, including TV adaptations of Shakespeare's plays, Quadrophenia, The Pallisers and A Man for All Seasons, starring John Gielgud and Charlton Heston.

Other credits include Boon, Chancer, Rumpole of the Bailey and Crossroads, and he provided a voice for the animated film, Chicken Run.

Benjamin's also a regular stage performer with such prestigious companies as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. He’s appeared in such classics as Twelfth Night, Loot, Uncle Vanya, School for Scandal and What The Butler Saw among  many others.
