Awards success for The Way We Live Now
The BBC ONE serialisation of The Way We Live Now, adapted by Andrew Davies from the Anthony Trollope novel, triumphed at this year's Broadcasting Press Guild Television and Radio Awards. It was named Best Drama Serial of 2001, while David Suchet, who played the charismatic swindler Augustus Melmotte in the drama, won the Best Actor award. The hit series is coming out on video on 22 April 2002.
