Orphaned at an early age, Jane spends her childhood with a domineering aunt, then at a boarding school.
After leaving the school, she embarks upon a career as a governess, which leads her into the life of the enigmatic Edward Rochester.

Ruth's a newcomer to TV, her only other appearance being as seductive Jewel Diamond in Five's sitcom Suburban Shootout. But she's worked extensively on the stage, and appeared in the short films, In The Dark and The Rounds.
