Faye noticed that Archie's saline bag was empty and changed it. As Lauren had given the wrong medication, Archie died; but Lauren reported that Faye changed the bag without permission. Joseph persuaded Ric and Connie to say they signed the drip off, but new CEO Vanessa uncovered the lie. When they refused to back down, she suspended them both, along with Faye.
