Just remember at the end of season 1 Linderman shoots DL but DL manages to kill him. Matt is shot by his own bullets. Sylar and Peter fight, but Sylar dies when Hiro stabs him with a sword. Hiro teleports to 17th century Japan. Nathan flies off into the night sky with Peter and there is a massive explosion. They've saved the cheerleader and saved the world.
