"My guess so far? Flower seller has nothing to do with it, Matt threw his moblile away to hide his affair, and Kyle is just dillusional."

"Riveting from start to finish.
This is one of those shows you wish you had set the video/DVD for. Then you can watch it again for those important bits that don't initially make sense, like why did Sarah decide to go to her shed/garage for no apparent reason. What is her connection with Tops? Were any of the women at the keep fit class relevant to what we've seen so far?
My guess so far? Flower seller has nothing to do with it, he's an illegal immigrant/asylum seeker. Matt threw his moblile away to hide his affair. Kyle is just dillusional....."

"This excellent drama is raising the bar to new heights with is eerie portrayal of a family at breaking point. The pervasive sense of doom, loss and hidden personal history bubbling under the skin of each character, has created a TV series full of subtlety and menace.
Fine performances by all the major cast members, and languid direction has allowed the pacing of this show to draw the viewer deeper into the entangled lives of a family dealing with the disappearance of one of their loved ones. A five star show..."

"My theory - Matt was in the army, so there could be a Bosnian/Serb connection?"
|
"Penelope Wilton's acting at the press conference was heart rendering. The realisation on her face and the primeval scream as she's unable to talk, made me cry.
My theory - Matt was in the army, so there could be a Bosnian/Serb connection? Otherwise, why the weird music?"
Jenny Williams, Manchester

"Weird, strange and confusing. Not sure if I rate the drama. Hope it all comes together soon as I am beginning to lose interest. Could have been so promising."
Liz Campion, Lockerbie

"How can anyone not like this? Or say it's a slow and bad storyline?
This is compelling viewing with an excellent cast. Each character weaves you in and you know that there are hidden complexities with everyone.
Thank goodness Rosie is safe - my husband and I are really looking forward to the next episode, we're also totally hooked."
Stephanie Bessant, Reading, Berkshire
"I'm enjoying the programme thoroughly. As I have hearing problems, I'm extremely relieved that the dialogue isn't drowned out by loud music - actually, the silence seems to deepen the intensity. Love what music there is though, it's quite haunting."
