Trevor Eve
Trevor's had a long and distinguished career in TV, film and theatre. He's well loved for his role as Private Eye Eddie Shoestring in the late 1970s. And in the 2000s, he's matched that success as Boyd, the leader of Waking The Dead's Cold Case team. In 2006, he plays fertility expert Patrick Stowe in drama The Family Man.

| Shoestring established the young Trevor as a TV screen star. He won an award for his portrayal of the slick Private Investigator.

Since then, he's worked in many high-profile television drama productions such as The Politician's Wife, A Sense of Guilt, David Copperfield and Waking the Dead.
Jonathan Harker in 1979's Dracula was one of Trevor's first film roles. He's also starred in big-budget Hollywood movies, including Troy co-starring Brad Pitt, and Possession, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow.

Trevor's TV company is called Projector Productions and produced Twelfth Night for Channel 4 and Cinderella starring Kathleen Turner.
He studied architecture before dropping out and training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
He had a bit part in Murder, She Wrote in 1984.

Trevor's passions are his family, golf, tennis, squash and painting.
He lives in London but would prefer to live by the sea - "Nowhere in particular, just somewhere hot."

| Trevor was born on 1st July 1951 in Birmingham.
He's been married to actress and Casualty star Sharon Maughan for over 20 years. They have three children - their daughter Alice is also an actress, starring in The Rotters' Club. Sharon was half of the famous 'Gold Blend couple' in the 1980s advertising campaign. Her sparring partner was Anthony Head who went on to play Giles in the TV version of Buffy, the Vampire-Slayer.
