Tim Healy
Tim Healy found fame as Dennis, the gaffer of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet's 'magnificent seven' back in the 1980s. Since then, the Geordie actor's starred in many TV dramas, including The Grand and Common as Muck. He was recently reunited with his former colleagues for two new series of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

| Best known for playing Auf Wiedersehen, Pet's Dennis, Tim's other notable credits include The Lost World, Heartburn Hotel, The Grand, Common as Muck and A Perfect Spy.
He's guest starred in numerous programmes, including Casualty, Silent Witness, Coronation Street, Minder and Heartbeat.

One of Tim’s earliest TV appearances was in the children’s show Tickle on the Tum.

Before becoming an actor Tim served an apprenticeship as a welder and spent time as a paratrooper.
He’s a founder member of the Live Theatre Company, which was set up in 1983. Kevin Whately, Madelaine Newton and Tim's wife Denise Welch are also members.

Tim has appeared alongside his father-in-law in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and the BBC Choice comedy Breeze Block.
