Sarah Parish
Her performance in hairdressing drama Cutting It won Sarah Parish a legion of fans. She previously starred in Hearts and Bones, Blackpool,and law drama Trust, and appears in BBC ONE's updating of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.

Sarah is one of the stars in David Nicholl's updating of Shakespeare's much loved play Much Ado About Nothing, on BBC ONE this autumn. She plays Beatrice, one of a pair of newscasters with fictional station Wessex TV, the other being old flame Benedick Damien Lewis. The drama also stars Billie Piper, Nina Sosanya, Tom Ellis and Martin Jarvis.
Since landing the role of receptionist Dawn Budge in Peak Practice in 1998, Sarah's never looked back. After leaving the show in 1999, Sarah's been a regular in The Vice, Hearts and Bones and Cutting It.
In 2004, Sarah starred as Natalie Holden in musical drama Blackpool as the wife of arcade owner Ripley Holden (David Morrisey), who has an affair with Peter Carlisle ( David Tennant), a police officer investigating her husband for murder.
She's also recently appeared as Maggie Joy Blunt in Our Hidden Lives, a drama based on the real diaries of people in post-war Britain. It also starred Richard Briers*, Ian McDiarmid* and Lesley Sharp*.
Her recent credits also include the drama short Table 12 and Sirens with Daniela Nardini, Greg Wise, and Murder's Robert Glenister.

Sarah's made guest appearances in several programmes, including Kiss Me Kate, Babes In The Wood and City Central.
She's also starred in several radio dramas including The Goldfish Bowl, Room at the Top and Snapper, and the 1998 film Parting Shots.

Before moving into TV, Sarah appeared on stage in Nine and Popcorn.
