Robson Green
Robson became a household name during his four year spell as Fusilier Dave Tucker in Soldier, Soldier. A performance of Unchained Melody in an episode of the drama launched him and co-star Jerome Flynn onto a short, but successful, pop career. His recent TV credits have included Trust, Grafters, Reckless and Rocket Man.

In 2005, Robson starred in the one-off BBC ONE daytime drama Beaten. The powerful story explored the issues of power, control and and violence in a Newcastle family. Later in the year he took a lighter role in Rocket Man. He played George Stevenson, a widower who had vowed to send his wife's ashes into space in a rocket, and was determined to keep that vow, no matter what the cost.
Robson's first notable television appearance came in 1989, when he appeared as hospital porter Jimmy Powell in the long-running BBC drama Casualty.
A four year spell in Soldier, Soldier followed, turning Robson into a household name.

Robson has appeared in a number of popular dramas including The Student Prince, Touching Evil, Reckless and Grafters, in which he starred alongside Stephen Tompkinson (In Deep, In Denial Of Murder).
Robson starred as Steven Bradley, an ambitious and charismatic lawyer at a City law firm in BBC drama Trust. His co-stars include Cutting It's Sarah Parish, Ian McShane (Lovejoy) and Neil Stuke ( Game On).

Robson gets his name from a tradition involving the eldest son being given a surname for his first name. "Robson" was his grandmother's maiden name and his middle name "Golightly" his great uncle's surname.

Robson released his first single with Soldier, Soldier co-star Jerome Flynn in 1995. Their version of Unchained Melody spent seven weeks at number one. The duo then went on to record three albums before parting company in 1997.
Robson's nephew is also an actor, Daymon Britton, who has starred in Sky TV's Dream Team as well as numerous theatre productions.
Robson's childhood dream was to join the Royal Air Force.
