Nick Berry
Nick Berry's time as Wicksy in EastEnders is now a distant memory thanks to the many subsequent dramas he's been involved with. He enjoyed a six year spell as PC Nick Rowan in Heartbeat, the theme tune of which earned him a second number one in the music charts, and is about to appear in a third series of In Deep.

| Nick's rarely been off our TV screens since his five year spell as Simon 'Wicksy' Wicks in EastEnders. Shortly after leaving the hit soap, he became part of Heartbeat's original cast, and played PC Nick Rowan until 1998.

His other credits include The Mystery of Men with Neil Pearson and Warren Clarke, Harbour Lights with Tina Hobley, and The Black Velvet Band with Todd Carty.
Nick's latest role is as maverick cop Liam Ketman, alongside Stephen Tompkinson, in BBC crime drama In Deep.

Before his face became familiar to millions, Nick Berry appeared in full costume as a rat in popular children's Christmas drama The Box of Delights.
In 1986, Nick had a number one hit with Every Loser Wins, a song first performed by his character Simon in EastEnders. He topped the charts again in 1992 with the theme tune from Heartbeat.

He trained as an actor at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
He runs his own production company called Valentine Productions
