Glasgow-raised Joseph appeared in Take the High Road before heading south from Scotland to make it big in TV dramas such as Sparkhouse. He's also broken into films and has several stage credits to his name.
Joseph hit the TV big time playing Prentice McHoan in the highly-acclaimed adaptation of Ian Banks' The Crow Road. Since then he's been in Bumping the Odds, 60s-set drama Sex, Chips and Rock 'n' Roll and The Glass.
He starred in the BBC Films production of Small Faces which was set in his native Glasgow. He also appeared in Dad Savage and The Trouble with Men and Women on the big screen.
Joseph's stage roles include Sloane in Entertaining Mr Sloane and the musical, Rent, at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
