John Bowe
John Bowe may be best known for playing the character 'Duggie' Ferguson in Coronation Street, but since quitting the soap he's added dramas such as Tipping the Velvet, Murder In Mind and Silent Witness to his already impressive CV.

John first came to the public's attention over ten years ago when he played creepy serial killer George Marlow in Prime Suspect. He was a regular in Coronation Street for three years before his character was left to die by evil Richard Hillman.
John has been acting since the early-1980s. After a very accomplished run on the stage, including performances in the RSC's The Taming of the Shrew, Lear, As You Like It, Richard III, Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice and Anthony & Cleopatra, John made the leap to a Bond film, playing Colonel Feyador in The Living Daylights.

John's had parts in numerous television dramas - too many to attempt to list. But highlights include appearances in popular dramas such as Soldier Soldier, Boon, Families, The Bill, Cats Eyes, Remington Steele, Heartbeat, Poldark, Lovejoy and The New Statesman.
John's Tipping the Velvet co-star Rachael Stirling is the daughter of another of his co-stars, Diana Rigg. John acted opposite Diana in Mrs Bradley Mysteries.
