Jimmy Nail
Jimmy Nail rose to fame as loud mouthed hardman Oz in the classic drama Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. After leaving Oz behind, he found success with starring roles in Spender and Crocodile Shoes, and appeared alongside Madonna in the 1996 film Evita. He recently revived Oz in two new series of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

| After making his name in
Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Jimmy went on to star in his own creation Spender and Crocodile Shoes which he also wrote.
He appeared in Malcolm Bradbury's 1985 adaptation of Tom Sharpe's Blott on the Landscape, which also starred David Suchet, George Cole and Geraldine James.

His other TV credits include a 1984 episode of Minder, an adaptation of Roald Dahl's Danny The Champion Of The World, and The 10th Kingdom.
Jimmy played Agustín Magaldi, alongside Madonna and Antonio Banderas, in the 1996 film Evita.

Jimmy Nail climbed to the top of the music charts in 1992 with Ain’t No Doubt. His other hits include Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, Crocodile Shoes and Cowboy Dreams.
His 1994 album Crocodile Shoes sold over 900,000 copies. He also played a major part in writing and performing the soundtrack to the 2002 series of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
Jimmy used to be in a rock band called King Crabs.
He’s a huge Newcastle United fan, while his dad was a professional footballer with Huddersfield Town.
Before Jimmy got into singing and acting, he worked as a welder.

| He was born as James Michael Aloysius Bradford in March 1954, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
Jimmy has two sons Thomas and Frederick with wife Miriam.
