An experienced actress, Greta has had a prolific international film career, having made European, American and Australian films. Her recent TV drama roles include Margaret Thatcher in Jeffrey Archer: The Truth, and Lydia Glasher in Daniel Deronda.
Greta played sensuous femme fatale Lady Diana Broughton in White Mischief, a murder mystery set among the decadent British ex-patriots of 1940's Kenya.
Greta starred with Harrison Ford in crime thriller Presumed Innocent and with Tim Robbins in Hollywood satire The Player as a character called June Gudmundsdottir.
Her role as the manipulated Tsarina Alexandra opposite Alan Rickman's mad monk in Rasputin earned Greta an Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Mini-Series and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a TV Mini-Series.
