Emma Cunniffe
Emma had a few stage and small TV roles before hitting the big time in the raunchy mini-series, The Lakes. Since then she's made her way into films, as well as maintaining a successful career in TV and on the stage.

After making her name in The Lakes, Emma went on to play Biddy in a TV adaptation of Great Expectations.
She followed this up with parts in All the King's Men, Clocking Off and Flesh and Blood with Christopher Eccleston.
Emma played the title role in Plain Jane and starred alongside Amanda Burton and Neil Pearson in acclaimed drama, The Whistle-Blower.
In 2004, she played Mozart's wife Constanze in the acclaimed BBC docu-drama about the life of the famous composer, The Genius of Mozart.

She won the Barclays Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in The Master Builder in 1999. Her other stage work includes Tales from Hollywood.
She's also performed in radio drama, starring in a Charlotte Bronte adaptation called Shirley for Radio 4.

Emma's first film role was a short called Life After Birth. She then appeared alongside Rachel Griffiths and Pete Postlethwaite in Among Giants. She also appeared in Dreaming of Joseph Lees alongside Holly Aird.

As well as her native Cheshire accent, can also speak with American Southern States, Birmingham, Cockney, Devon, Liverpool, New York and Somerset accents.
She's highly skilled at ballet and jazz dancing, and has a mezzo-soprano singing voice.
When not acting, Emma particularly enjoys swimming.
Emma took singing lessons specially to help her recreate Constanze's solo performances for her role in The Genius of Mozart
