Claudie (played by Michelle Holmes)
Claudie's the widow of George.
She was genuinely in love with him but also conscious that he was sitting on a gold mine.
She happily encouraged him to re-mortgage the house to fund their lengthy honeymoon stay in Malta.
Fashion conscious, sex-mad and used to getting her own way, Claudie's most distressed to share her home with George's family.
Michelle Holmes
Michelle got her big break in 1986 with Rita, Sue and Bob Too, playing sex-mad babysitter Sue. Soon after, she joined the cast of Coronation Street as Tina for two years. Also in soapland, she's played two roles in Emmerdale.
Other credits include Common as Muck, Life Begins, Merseybeat and Goodnight Sweetheart.
Outside work, she used to play in a band called The Dunky Dobbers with ex-Corrie actress Sue Devaney.
