Find out what you asked Suzanne in June 2004

Interviews: Suzanne Packer
Exclusive interviews with the Casualty cast!

Suzanne Packer  Actor: Suzanne Packer

  Character: Tess Bateman

  Role: Acting Clinical Nurse Manager

RUTHY LAMBERT: Do you watch yourself on Casualty? What did you first buy when you got the job? What was your first day like?
SUZANNE: I do watch myself on Casualty but I also watch everyone else. I don't remember buying anything special when I got the job. I was definitely nervous the first day I was on set. But it was probably one of the easiest first days I have ever had. Everyone was so friendly. I felt very looked after.

SPILLER+MILESVTHE_LARAITES: Do you think being Colin Jackson's sister helped you in your career? Do you follow welsh rugby?
SUZANNE: Being Colin Jackson's sister hasn't helped me in my career so far at all. However there is a nice perk being his sister. He is on the 'A' list and sometimes he takes me to his 'A' list events. I have to admit that I don't follow Welsh rugby but I really got hooked during the World Cup. And I definitely wanted Wales to win the more I got involved.

LARA LA LA!: Isn't it about time Tess cheered up?
SUZANNE: It would be great if Tess could cheer up. But she is under a lot of pressure at the moment. She has a lot of outgoings to shoulder especially since her husband is now on the minimum wage, along with caring for 3 kids, not to mention the fact the she has a pretty demanding and stressful job.
