Favourite Moment

5: Kenny's Death [Two Thousand Acres Of Sky] (5.85%)

Your Comments

"Kenny comes round, warms himself, then falls back unconscious. Then he climbs out of the cove, and back on the beach. He gets rescued, only to be back on the beach, really dead. The realisation of all this is absolutely heartbraking. So well written and played ... it beats anything I've ever watched."
Philippa Dutchfan, Netherlands

"It was so so sad! I cried my eyes out!"
Emma

"The death of Kenny was undoubtedly the most tragic and moving moment which will stay with me forever. I felt heartbroken. An amazing piece of drama."
Moira Romer, Berkshire

Kenny (Paul Kaye)
Ruby (Lucy Gaskell) and Allie (Sarah Parish) 4: Allie discovers that Ruby's pregnant with Gavin's baby [Cutting It] (7.80%)

Your Comments

"The end of the second series was my favourite moment, Allie finally puts her daughter in first place instead of herself and does not return to Gavin. Very sad moment but very good."
Myrthe Hoorn, Holland

"After last year's cliffhanger I thought they wouldn't be able to do any better this year but somehow they did. It was great and heartbreaking at the same time, you always think one thing's going to happen and then the opposite does."
Katie, Kent

"A complete shock - then Allie told Finn she was pregnant and he knew it couldn't be his! I can't wait for the third series in 2004!"
Matthew Williamson, Manchester

3: Mason's heroic exit [24] (11.71%)

Your Comments

"The acting from Xander Berkely was termendous as he bowed out in heroic fashion. The mushroom cloud erupting over the desert still gives me chills when I rewatch it."
Charlie, Hertfordshire

"Heart-wrenching stuff! He went out as a hero, great viewing!"
Lena

"George Mason a hero? Who'd have believed it? But a wonderful scene with Jack in the plane."
Susan Cunningham, Aberdeen

George Mason (Xander Berkely)
Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) 2: Tom's death (or was it?) [Spooks] (12.68%)

Your Comments

"This second series of Spooks left you on an even bigger knife edge than the first series. Let's hope Tom does come back to clear his name. Fingers and everything else crossed."
June Taylor, Sheffield

"It's a wonder I have any nails left - I was biting them so short. With that and the tears, I was a nervous wreck for days. Eagerly awaiting the return of the series AND the resolution to the best cliff-hanger since the end of Series 1."
Caroline Pye, Shropshire

"It better not be the end of Tom, otherwise a fundamental part of the show will have been lost...I await series 3 impatiently..."
Matt, Leicester

1: The return of Den [EastEnders] (19.51%)

Your Comments

"This was my favourite moment, because the episode revolves around other stuff, and then at the very end come the two all-important words - "'ello princess.""
Emma Royston, East Sussex

"Den coming back after being dead for 14 years, who could have believed it? Putting Phil back in his place and only wanting the best for his daughter, Dirty Den has struck again."
Liam Copeland, Liverpool

"The return of the legend made for unmissable viewing and that episode had such a fast pace and fabulous story. It was the biggest comeback in soap and they did not waste a second of it."
Catriona, London

" "'ello princess!" - how many people have said that?! It was great because not only did it bring back one of the greatest soap characters of all time, but it developed the characters of Sharon, Dennis and Vicki - and of course Phil Mitchell met his match!!"
Kimbo Godsall, Kent

Den (Leslie Grantham)
