Pauline Quirke stars as April, a single mother experiencing the ups and downs of having three children with three different fathers.
April is someone who would do anything for her kids, a woman whose life kind of happened rather than being planned. Meanwhile, the fathers of her children haven't got a clue about the responsibility of being a dad.
Richard (Victor Maguire) is her first love. He still loves her, even though she left him to find out if the grass really is greener. Father number two is Eddie (Nicholas Gleaves), fun and exciting - and secretly gay. Finally there's Sunil (Nitin Ganatra), young, sexy and rich - and married.
The new man in April's life is Callum (Clive Russell), who craves her family set-up and believes April to be the woman of his dreams.
It's not about money; it's about wanting the men to spend more time with their children and to be involved on a regular basis.

Callum's presence makes all the absentee dads realise their shortcomings and they begin to get involved in their children's lives.
As the men and their significant others get closer to the children, April begins to feel jealous that she's losing them, and that they prefer their dads to her.
